Additional Director General (ADG) Pakistan Post, Fazal Sattar Khan inaugurated an Express Post Centre here at Shaheen Cloth Market on Monday. Those present on the occasion were Divisional Superintendent, Khalifa Takkar, Assistant Post Master General, Wasiullah and Chief Post Master General, GPO, Peshawar, Mohammad Nisar Khan. The trading community of Shaheen Cloth Market and elders of the area attended the ceremony.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony, Fazal Sattar Khan said through the Express Post Centre the trading community and general public of the Mardan would receive their remittances through money orders and Western Union in minutes. He said that through urgent mail service, speedy postal services would be provided to the people.
He said Pakistan Post has been equipped with all requirements of the modern era and special arrangements have been made to maintain people's confidence. Pakistan Post, he said, had introduced fast and quick postal and transfer of remittances through the Express Post. He expressed the hope that the trading community and people of Mardan will utilise the modern facilities of Pakistan Post.
