The volume was 84,685,514 shares, which was 72.41 percent of KSE All Share and 96.34 percent of KSE-100 index. The volumes for KSE All Share and KSE-100 were 116,947,270 and 87,881,285 shares, respectively. BR Commercial Banks Index closed at 2,719.74, recording a negative change of -19.73 points or -0.72 percent, and volume of 16,703,315 shares.
BR Technology and Communication Index closed at 599.31 with a net positive change of 12.96 or 2.21 percent. Volume was 13,355,359 shares. BR Cement Index closed at 705.28 with a net positive change of 6.23 or 0.89 percent registering volume of 13,274,519 shares.
BR Oil and Gas Index closed at 2,079.76 recording a net negative change of -7.56 points or -0.36 percent. The volume was 7,745,062 shares. BR Power Generation and Distribution Index closed at 1,556.50 with a net positive change of 15.02 or 0.97 percent. Volume was 2,415,302 shares.
