Since the establishment of the University in 2002, there has been an overwhelming response of students seeking admission in various programs offered. In view of the increase in the number of students we have been continuously adding to the physical infrastructure teaching faculty and training aids. Besides, we continue to revive and revise and also offer new programs and courses keeping in view the market demand.
The University of Faisalabad is a project of the Madina Foundation of Madina Group. The founder chairman of the Group Haji Muhammad Saleem gave the Group the motto 'Industry, Service, Education.' Realising that the heart of Pakistan Textile Industry - Faisalabad suffered from educational negligence for decades; Haji Muhammad Saleem took the challenges of facilitation the common man and pave the path to success through educational enlightenment.
This is how the idea of establishing a University in the private sector in Faisalabad was conceived. Allah gave us the strength, wisdom and resources to establish this institution after his demise and, to run it professionally to bring it at par with the leading universities of the country. The University provides an access to the students to quality education based on merit and their potential for motivation to excel.
I consider my role as Vice Chairman, Board of Governors, on one hand, to gain institutional support for a strategic vision that is forward looking to match the International standards, and secondly, my role is the creation and maintenance of an institutional climate and culture that enables each and every student and staff member to work to his/her capacity, in an environment that is both personally and collectively rewarding.
The University has highly qualified, experienced and devoted faculty members. I appreciate the services of faculty members and supporting staff of the University for their remarkable hard work in successfully running the various programs and maintaining discipline and good environment for learning. I am assure all students who join us in various programs that the University will not leave any stone unturned to groom you to perfection for the practical life and to become an asset to the country.
