ISLAMABAD: Leader of the House in Senate Raja Muhammad Zafarul Haq Monday expressed his heartfelt condolence over the sad demise of Pakistan Movement activist Ms Sughra Fatima, who died in Lahore. She was 80.
In his condolence message, he said the services of Sughra Fatima would be remembered for long as she hoisted Muslim League flag at the building of Civil Secretariat, Lahore by replacing Union Jack at the age of only 14 years.
Zafar-ul-Haq prayed Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to her family to bear the loss with fortitude.
