President Asif Ali Zardari on Friday visited the mausoleum of the Quaid-e-Azam Mohammed Ali Jinnah to pay homage to the founder of the nation on his 133rd birth anniversary. The president was accompanied by Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah and member of the provincial cabinet. The president laid floral wreath at the grave of Baba-e-Qom and offered fateh.
Earlier, Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah along with the provincial cabinet ministers visited his Cabinet. The Ministers visited Mazar-e-Quid to pay homage to the founder on the occasion of his 133rd birth anniversary. They laid floral wreaths at the grave of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and offered fateha.
Talking to the journalist, the chief minister vowed the present democratic government would spare no stone unturned in resolving the much awaited issues with unity and cohesion. Highlighting the role of the government for resolving year's long issues, he said the issues of National Finance Commission (NFC) and water have been solved while the remaining issues would be addressed soon.
To a question, the chief minister said the issue of local government system in the country would also be resolved after detailed consultation with political allies. The Sindh Senior Minister for Education Pir Mazharul Haq, Muhammad Ayaz Soomro, Jam Mehtab Dahar, Abdul Haq Bhurt, Zahid Hussain Bhurgri, Mazoor Hussain Wasan, Raza Haroon, Abdul Haseeb Khan, Nadia Gabol, Ameer Nawab Khan and provincial leaders of the Pakistan Peoples Party, Muttaheda Qaumi Movement and Awami National Party were also present on this occasion.
