Chief Minister Punjab provincial middle level competitions were held in four schools of the city, on Saturday. As many as 107 male and female students from nine divisions of the province participated in these competitions. These students spoke on "Twanaee Ka Buhran aur Talba Ki Zimedarian (Urdu) and United We Stand Divided We Fall (English)".
Speech competitions of girl students were held at Government Lady Maclagon Girls School, Purani Anaar Kali and Bilal Qamar Director Children Library Complex was chief guest of the function. The speech competitions of boy students were held at Government Central Model School, Ratigon Road, Lahore. Khawaja Imran MPA and EDO (Education) Lahore were chief guests of the contests. In addition to that Rao Muhammad Ejaz MPA presided over the competition at Government Comprehensive Girls School Wahdat Road, Lahore.
According to the result of provincial Urdu speech competitions of middle level, among girls Fatima Zahra of Shaikh Zayed Higher Secondary School Rahim Yar Khan stood first through out the province, Syeda Nigah Zahra of Paragon Public High School Faisalabad second and Hajira Bib of Govt. Girls High Schools Mausa Khel Mianwali came third.
Among boys Farid Ahmed Mustafai of Government Muslim Model High School Urdu Bazar secured first position, Muhammad Basit of Zikriya School Multan second and Abdul Haseeb of Government Higher Secondary School Renala Khurd Okara obtained third position.
In middle level provincial English speech competition among boy students Salman Azfar of Divisional Public School Sahiwal secured first position, Abdullah Javed of Al-sabah Grammer School Gari Shahu Lahore second position and Muhammad Jahanzeb of City Public School Dera Ghazi Khan achieved third position. Among girl students Urooj Tariq of Government Comprehensive High School Madina Town Faisalabad, Rabia Tariq of Lahore Lyceum School Jhelum and Bushra Liaqat of Govt. Girls High School Kot Addu obtained first, second and third positives respectively.
