The Indus River System Authority (Irsa) on Tuesday released 29,876 cusecs water from various rim stations with inflow of 39,743 cusecs. According to the data released by Irsa here on Tuesday, the maximum water level in River Indus at Tarbela was 1418.83 feet, which was 49 feet higher than its dead level of 1,369 feet. The release of water at Kalabagh, Taunsa and Sukkur was recorded as 25,484, 23,892 and 10,360 cusecs respectively.
The water level in River Jhelum at Mangla was 1074.90 feet, which was 34 feet higher than its dead level of 1,040 feet whereas the inflow and outflow of water was recorded as 6,767 and 5,000 cusecs respectively. Similarly, from River Kabul a total of 10,500 cusecs of water was released at Nowshera and 6,376 cusecs released from River Chenab at Marala.
