Human Rights Commission (HRC) South Asia had demanded the cancellation of arms licenses issued in past 25 years as well as recovery of illegal arms for stopping target killing in Karachi says a press release of the Commission. The workers of political parties should also be disarmed for maintaining law and order and weeding out target killing in Karachi.
According to statistic the workers of MQM (Haqiqi), Muttahida Qaumi Movement, Sunni Tahrik, ANP, PPP and Jamaat-i-Islami were facing target killing. It is responsibility of government to recover legal and illegal weapons.
