Samsung Galaxy X to beat iPhone X
Intending to step up its game, Apple recently released its new set of iPhones. Now, Samsung has also decided to re-gain its position by introducing its own Samsung Galaxy X.
Samsung’s agreed at the day of Apple’s iPhone X that the company is working on its foldable devices, which would probably be called Galaxy X. However, the release date is yet not known.
According to the list by South Korea National Radio Research Agency, Samsung contains a device with the codename SM-G888N0, which is the same codename the company is using for its foldable smartphones – Galaxy X, reported BGR.
Samsung Galaxy S9 to be launched in January
The prominent feature of Apple’s iPhone X was the bezel-less screen but, this feature was way before introduced by Samsung and even had a higher screen-to-body ration than that of Apple. Where iPhone X has an 82.9% screen-to-body ration, Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ contain 83.6% and 84% ration respectively.
Thus, the company won’t probably introduce what is already in the market. It plans on bringing something new – the foldable screens. However, they are still a concept at present, reported Tech Juice.
Recently, Samsung’s president DJ Koh claimed that the firm was working on its new Galaxy X but probably won’t make it available until next year.
