A minor boy was killed and three others were injured when a single storey house collapsed in Malir area. According to police, Areeb, 6, son of Muhammad Kashif was killed while his brother Arum, 9, mother Tasleem Bibi and his uncle Muhammad Adeel were injured when the building of house no. 427, A-I Area Malir City collapsed on Saturday evening.
Later, the injured were taken to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for treatment. Police claimed the house was built without pillars. In another incident, a body of 17-year-old youth was found from Lal Flats Bus Stop, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Block 10 on Saturday morning.
Sources in Shara-e-Faisal police station said the deceased, Sadiq, was the resident of Khokharapar, Malir and was missing from Friday. The heirs told police that the deceased went to Aladdin Park for refreshment with his friend and went missing. Police said the incident was a result of old enmity.
