SSP Punjab Highways Patrol (PHP) Faisalabad Region has said that effective patrolling by PHP has ensured safe highways, free flow of traffic and help service to commuters in any kind of distress. He said that patrol police had made round the clock travelling possible and considerably reduced crimes at highways.
He expressed these views while addressing a ceremony after inaugurating newly constructed PHP patrol post at Dijkot, Gojra Road. He told the participants that presently 37 patrolling posts were functional in all four 4 districts of Faisalabad Region and the staff deployed there was making all out efforts to prevent crime and accidents, besides ensuring smooth flow of traffic on highways. EX MNA Mian Muhammad Farooq also spoke on the occasion and thanked the high ups of PHP for establishing patrol post in the area. He hoped that establishment of patrol post would help reduce robbery and dacoity on Dijkot Gojra Road.
