Two killed as vehicles' pile up on highway

Two persons were killed, over a dozen sustained injuries after four vehicles, including a trailer, piled up on Multan-Khanewal Highway near Qadirpur Raan, some 30 kilometres off here on Monday amidst fog. Rescue 1122 sources said the trailer GLT-5399, two wagons ie MNQ-9905 and MNX-765 and a car banged into each other due to fog on the highway resulting in the death of a person Sadiq and another man yet to be identified.
Over a dozen others sustained injuries including - Muhammad Sharif, Abdur Rehman, Imam Din, Irfan, Muhammad Saleem, Syed Nazar Hussain and others. They were rushed to nearby hospitals in Multan and Khanewal.
