Speaker Punjab Assembly Rana Muhammad Iqbal has said that government is ready to help the young entrepreneurs and support the young talent. He was talking to the reporters at the opening ceremony of the three-day Fourth Youth Entrepreneurial Summit 2010 (YES 2010) organised by University of Central Punjab's "The Rising Spirit" Society for encouraging the practice of leadership under the Ideas 2010 on Monday.
The event partner of YES 2010 was Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI). Chairman Board of Governors University of Central Punjab Mian Amer Mahmood was also present on the occasion. Students from various universities across Punjab participated and came up with around 70 innovative ideas for starting up business.
He appreciated the work of young entrepreneurs and said that with proper guidance and training they can export their products and earn foreign exchange. Principal Officer of the US Consulate Carmela Conroy visited the exhibition and said that such type of activities create a sense of competition among talented students and help them to demonstrate their skills and business acumen.-PR
