Barclays Bank PLC, Pakistan inaugurated its first branch in NWFP; the branch is in the premises of Pakistan Tobacco Company (PTC), located at Akora Khattak. Nicholas Hales, Managing Director and CEO, Pakistan Tobacco Company performed the inauguration ceremony with Mohsin Nathani, Country Managing Director, Barclays Bank, Pakistan. Also present at the occasion were senior team members of Barclays Bank, Pakistan and PTC.
The Akora Khattak branch is the third rural branch for Barclays in Pakistan and has been established to provide financial services to the employees of PTC and the locals of region. Speaking at the inauguration, Mohsin Nathani said, "Today is an important milestone for us as we extend our network further into rural markets. Akora Khattak represents a great market with a viable growth potential for Barclays."-PR
