Complete normalcy returned to Central Jail Faisalabad as all inmates Monday demonstrated discipline after calling off their protest. Inspector General of Prisons Punjab Kokab Nadeem Warriach told APP on Monday from Faisalabad he had never compromised on discipline and security of prisons, however, rights of all inmates would be fully protected strictly according to jail manual besides ensuring their welfare.
He said Punjab Jails Minister Chaudhary Abdul Ghafoor, Home Secretary Nadeem Hasan Asif, Commissioner Tahir Hussain, the Regional Police Office and other senior officers had also visited the jail and held successful talks with inmates who ultimately called off their protest.
