Sarhad Sports Writers Association (SSWA) on Friday held condolence meeting over the sad demise of senior sports journalist Gul Hameed Bhatti here at conference room of the Qayyum Sports Complex. President Sarhad Sports Writers Association Azmatullah chaired the meeting while President of the Pakistan Sports Writers Federation Amjad Aziz Malik, other office-bearers and members were also present.
The meeting paid rich tributes to late Gul Hameed Bhatti for his services he rendered for the promotion of sports in the country. The meeting said that Gul Hameed Bhatti contributed to the sports by covering national and international events by highlighting good image of the country abroad. Late G H Bhatti was an outstanding journalist, highly respected among the colleagues.
All members offered Fateh for the departed soul and expressed their deep sorrow and grief over the sad demise of senior sports journalist. The meeting prayed to Allah Almighty that may his soul rest in peace and give his family the strength to bear this loss.
Meanwhile, on behalf of Pakistan Sports Writers Federation (PSFW) President Amjad Aziz Malik, Secretary General Zahid Farooq Malik, Senior Vice President Sardar Khan, Treasure Aamir Raza Khan and all the executive members, members all across the country expressed deepest sorrow and grief over the demise of senior sports journalist Gul Hameed Bhatti.
