A 12-member Chinese delegation, led by Vice Governor of Sichuan province of China called on State Minister and Chairman Board of Investment, Mohammad Saleem H. Handviwalla. Secretary Board of Investment, Mohammad Saleem Khan and Chinese Ambassador were also present on the occasion, said a press release issued here on Monday.
Handviwalla on the occasion highlighted the policy parameters of investment in Pakistan and said that Pakistan's investment policy allows 100 percent foreign equity in the major sectors and full repatriation of profits and dividends in all sectors. A detailed presentation was given to the Chinese delegation on overall investment climate and opportunities available in Pakistan.
The Vice Governor informed the BoI Chairman that 11th West China International Fair would be held in Chengdu from 16-20 October 2010 and offered him free space for setting up booth at the exhibition. The Governor offered free space for Sino Pak Investment Fair, which would be an excellent opportunity for matchmaking Pakistani and Chinese businessmen.
