The Pakistan Gems and Jewellery Development Company (PGJDC) is participating in the prestigious Gem, Mineral and Fossil Showcase, Tucson, Arizona, US. A statement here on Tuesday said the PGJDC was facilitating Gems and Jewellery exhibitors and delegates from different areas of Pakistan in the show.
It said the exhibiting Pakistani companies were displaying precious Pakistani gemstones and exquisite jewellery at the specially constructed Pakistan Pavilion under the brand name, "Gems and Jewellery Pakistan." It was pointed out that the Gem, Mineral and Fossil showcase at Tucson, Arizona US, is one of the biggest shows of its kind in the world.
Each year thousands of exhibitors and visitors come to Tucson to take part in the show. This is the second participation of Pakistan under the umbrella of PGJDC. The company previously participated in the show in 2007, it was stated. This year PGJDC has set up a Pakistan Pavilion in the Gem, Mineral and Fossil Showcase Tucson.
The presence of Pakistan Pavilion in the show has underlined PGJDC's commitment to strengthen the image of the Gems and Jewellery industry of Pakistan and to provide better exposure to the travelling exhibitors. The exhibitors from Pakistan are aesthetically displaying an array of precious gemstones and jewellery from Pakistan.
Pakistan Pavilion is adorned with products like, Emerald, Ruby, Peridot, Aquamarine, Tourmaline, Turquoise, Topaz, Lapis, Sapphire, Kunzite, Coral, Tanzanite, Amethyst and Silver and Diamond studded jewellery. PGJDC's second visit to the US had exposed the Pakistani Gems and Jewellery stakeholders to the emerging trends of the US market, it was further stated.-PR
