Five armed dacoits shot dead two brothers and injured one other on meeting resistance during a dacoity in the area of tehsil Liaqatpur on Sunday night, about 60 kilometres from here. Police said here on Monday that five bandits entered the house of Abdul Hameed in Mouza Mori, in Pakka Larran police limits.
However, sons of Abdul Hameed put up resistance upon which the outlaws opened fire on them. Consequently, Zafar (20) and Asgar (24) died on the spot and Akhtar (18) received injuries and was rushed to Sheikh Zayed Hospital. Police registered a case and were investigating.
