Pakistan People's Party (PPP) leaders said the enemies of the country were conspiring against democracy but the party would foil them. According to a press release issued here on Friday, Ziaullah Bangash, member of the PPP Federal Council, and Muhammad Saleem Mughal, Secretary Information Peoples Labour Bureau Punjab, said the nation was facing many challenges and all political leaders should unite to face them.
Democratic powers should play their due role to cut the root of dictatorship," they added. The PPP leaders said the judges' appointment was not a matter of defeat or success. "The job done by the Prime Minister will prove the supremacy of parliament and democracy", they added. They said the government would complete its tenure successfully.
