Campaign against over-speeding launched

On the special directions of Dr Muhammad Shafique, Deputy Inspector General (Motorways), a special campaign against over-speeding was launched in Sector M-2 (South) & M-3 from February 25 to March 2010. Sector Commander, Nasir Mehmood Satti made special arrangements for the effectiveness of this campaign in the sector.
Activities of the campaign were distribution of pamphlets, display of banners, arrangement of stalls, imparting briefing, on and off, the road and creating road safety awareness through print and electronic media. The basic aim of the campaign was to enlighten the perils of road safety amongst the public to avoid the loss of precious human lives and property.
