Hard red winter wheat futures on the Kansas City Board of Trade closed lower on Wednesday, pressured by higher-than-expected government ending stocks estimates. The KCBT May contract closed down 6-1/2 cents at $4.91 after sliding as low as $4.89-3/4, its lowest point since October.
