Etihad Airways, has announced a new partnership with Bank Alfalah for its Etihad Guest, the award-winning loyalty programme, allowing Etihad Guest members to convert their accumulated Bank Alfalah credit card reward points to Etihad Guest Miles.
Bank Alfalah, part of the Abu Dhabi Group, currently operates through 195 branches in 74 cities across Pakistan, making it one of the largest banks in the country. Bank Alfalah, under the leadership of its Chairman Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mubarak Al Nahayan, has made significant breakthrough in providing premier services at an affordable cost to customers.
Peter Baumgartner, Etihad Airways' chief commercial officer, said: "Our award winning Etihad Guest programme continues to grow, allowing us to extend greater benefits to our fast growing member base. We are delighted to offer Bank Alfalah card members access to our wide selection of rewards, ranging from free flights and upgrades to thousands of other products, services and money-can't-buy experiences from our award winning Reward Shop."
Under the partnership agreement, Etihad Guest members in Pakistan who hold a Bank Alfalah credit card can convert their accrued Bank Alfalah reward points to Etihad Guest Miles and then redeem these from an extensive selection of rewards. Five Bank Alfalah points can be exchanged for one Etihad Guest Mile.
Parvez A Shahid, Bank Alfalah's Co-Chairman, said: "Bank Alfalah's decision to enter a partnership with Etihad brings together two outstanding organisations who believe in providing gainful, convenient and quality services to their customers. I have absolute confidence in the future success of this venture and its ability to take Bank Alfalah Credit Card holders to a whole new level of exclusivity and premier banking".-PR
