Suleri appointed member PSO board of management

Prime Minis-ter Yousuf Raza Gilani has approved the nomination of Dr Abid Qaiyum Suleri, Executive Director, Sustainable Development Policy Institute, on the Board of Management (BoM), Pakistan State Oil (PSO) with immediate effect and till further orders. According to a notification of Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources, Dr Abid Suleri was placed on the BoM in place of Abid Saeed.
Dr Suleri completed his doctorate in Food Security from Natural Resources Institute, University of Greenwich, UK. He also served as Head of Programmes, Oxfam, Pakistan, said a press release issued here on Thursday. He is currently working on comparing state of food security in Pakistan at district level; Imagine a New South Asia; Linkages between Trade, Development and Poverty Reduction; and Domestic Preparedness for Trade Liberalisation.
