The elections of PCB in the East, West and North Zones Lahore would be held on 26 March at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. A spokesman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said on Tuesday that Abdul Sami Khan, Election Commissioner PCB will conduct the elections. For East Zone polls, Syed Muhammad Kamil Shah, Muhammad Aslam and Najaf Hameed Khan Niazi are in the run for the office of President while Ahmad Ayyaz Khan, Habib-ul-Hassan and Syed Hussain Tahir Shah have filed papers for the office of Secretary.
For the post of Treasurer, Ghulam Abbas, Javed Amin and Majeed Javaid Shahid are in the run. For West Zone polls, Syed Tauqir Shah and Zulfiqar Ahmed are in the run for the office of President while Muhammad Naeem Khan and Muhammad Shoaib Dar have filed papers for the office of Secretary.
For the post of Treasurer, Muhammad Aslam and Sh. Khurram Hafeez are contesting. For North Zone elections, Muhammad Mobin, Malik Sarwar Mehmood and Masood Anwar are in the run for the office of President while Muhammad Zaheer and Muhammad Naseer have filed papers for the office of Secretary. For the post of Treasurer, Aziz-ur-Rehman and Imtiaz Ahmed Malik are in the run. The PCB spokesman said that arrangements for the elections have been finalised.
