Reference held to recall services of Majid Fauz

A reference to recall the services of renowned journalist and former President Balochistan Union of Journalists (BUJ) Majid Fauz held, here on Sunday.
Majid Fouz's son Abdulla was the chief guest. Chaudhry Khadim Hussain, Jalil Hassan Akhtar Raja, Bakhtgir Chaudhry, Din Muhammad Dard, Qamar Bhatti, Habib Chohan, Hamid Nawaz, Nadim-ul-Hassan and others spoke on the occasion and appreciated the services of late journalist in the field of journalism.
The speakers said that Fauz was a committed person and was always resolute for the struggle of journalists. The journalists undertook to continue with the struggle of late journalist and said that system thrives through services of such die-hard activists.
The speakers while upholding the services of Fauz for the journalist community said, he although belonged to a smaller province but took stand for the journalists, their rights and left no stone unturned for the welfare of the community. The speakers averred that Fauz always fought for the rights without any fear. They said society presently lacked such trade union activists and expressed their determination to continue his struggle for the rights of the journalists. The function was attended by a large number of journalists.
