A US soldier was killed and three were injured when their helicopter crashed in northern Iraq late on Saturday evening, the US military said on Sunday. In a brief statement, the military said the incident had not been attributed to enemy fire and was under investigation.
The United States has around 100,000 troops still serving in Iraq seven years after an invasion to topple the regime of Saddam Hussein.
