Closure of markets at 8pm: body set up in Hyderabad

The Administrator District Government Hyderabad Aftab Ahmed Khatri has constituted a vigilance committee headed by EDOR Syed Burkat Ahmed Rizvi with the revenue officers having special judicial powers, area inspectors of Hyderabad police and labour department to monitor and ensure that the Government orders about closure of markets at 8 pm to conserve electricity were being implemented accordingly.
This he decided while presiding over a meeting to discuss and decide the modalities to implement on energy conservation strategy envisaged by the Government to minimise load shedding.
Addressing the meeting the Administrator District Government Hyderabad Aftab Ahmed Khatri directed to police inspectors and labour inspectors of the area to be vigilant and pay surprise visit of markets, marriage Halls and take action in consultation with magistrates if they found any one in violation of decision, which was agreed in between Government and Business committee under energy conservation plan.
