Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani has said there are rare chances of clash between the institutions. "The assassins of Benazir Bhutto are the assassins of democracy and we will not let them run away," he expressed these views while addressing a public gathering in Burewala here on Thursday. The prime minister said that the murder of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was a court murder.
No party except the PPP has ever given so many sacrifices in the history of subcontinent and they would not let these sacrifices go wasted, he said. "We have given NFC Award and we will protect the rights of the provinces. We would cooperate with the tribal leaders because they are patriots and they were the companions of Quaid-e-Azam," he said.
Gilani further said that the way they have restored the judiciary, in the same way they would run the country after the restoration of the Constitution. Talking about the agricultural policy of Pakistan, Gilani said that wheat and rice productions have specially increased due to the agricultural policies of the government and now they are able to import wheat and rice.
The prime minister said that entire nation has fully co-operated with the police, army and law enforcing agencies in the war against terror. "We will take all the political forces with us to strengthen the economy of Pakistan. Gilani arrived in Burewala to meet PPP candidate from Burewala who is contesting in the by-polls from NA-163. He reached at Thengi Military Base via special plane and from there he went to Burewala via helicopter. A large number of people from the surrounding areas were present on the occasion and were chanting slogans in favour of the party.
