Bears dominated the proceedings at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where equities showed negative signs under the lead of hot favourite amid decrease in index. ISE Ten Index was down by 32.43 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 2,456.55 to 2,424.12 points. The overall turnover amounted to 236,624 shares as compared to previous turnover of 132,872 shares.
Total 157 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (100) closed in negative territory, 57 landed in plus column and zero company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of BYCO Petroleum was 36,000 shares. The volume of Engro Polymer & Chemical was 34,664 shares. The turnover of Arif Habib Securities was 26,200 shares. Top gainer was Unilever Pakistan with an increase of Rs 57.20 per share, whereas was a major loser was Pakistan State Oil Company with a decrease of Rs 6.10 per share.
