Punjab University has awarded PhD degree to Rashid Ahmed s/o Muhammad Yaqub in the subject of High Energy Physics after approval of his research thesis entitled "Electronic Band-Structure Calculations of Solids Using Computational Methods," completed under the supervision of PU Professor Dr Haris Rashid, Director, and Centre for High Energy Physics (CHEP).
Similarly, Muhammad Abid s/o Muhammad Ashraf has been awarded PhD degree in the subject of zoology after approval of his research thesis entitled "Growth Pattern in Labeo Rohita (Hamilton) under Intensive Culture System," completed under the supervision of PU Zoology Department Assistant Professor Dr Muhammad Shafiq Ahmed.
