Deputy General Manager, Finance, Peshawar Electricity Supply Company (Pesco), Anwar-ul-Haq Yusufzai has said that with continued pursuance and team work the company has achieved the remarkable goals in shape of reducing two percent line losses and bringing improvement in recovery during last two months. He asked the Audit and Accounts Assistants to bring positive change in their attitudes and do at their level best.
He also asked field staff to suggest him more proposals for the benefits of workers. He was the chief guest on the occasion of certificate distribution ceremony amongst the successful participants of Audit & Accounts at Regional Training Centre, Charsadda. Principal RTC Engineer Gul Wahid, Assistant Manager Qasim Ullah and other Pesco officials were also present on the occasion.
DGM Finance congratulated all the successful participants over their successful training and said that it is a moment of pleasure as he also remained instructor at Wapda Academy Tarbela for seven years and he is fully aware about the significance of training. He said that training must be utilised in your future practical life for your own benefits and as well as for the betterment of the organisation.
Talking about the problems faced by RTC, he assured that he would bring all these difficulties in the notice of Chief Executive for their solution at the earliest. He also said that more funds will be allocated in next budget for Regional Training Centre Charsadda to facilitate the trainees as well as staff and employees, this will enable staff and employees to utilise their best energies to ensure progress of the company.
He said that despite Pesco's weak financial position, management has taken concrete steps for the benefits of the employees and in future will do more, but all these only be possible if you all work with devotion, honesty and with the spirit that we can overcome the problems being faced by Pesco.
