Suicide attempt averted in Mardan

Prompt action by security forces has averted a suicide attempt on Tuesday morning in Mardan. According to ISPR, three suicide bombers along with four covering men tried to enter military training area of Mardan at 5am. The bombers were spotted by sentries and they blew themselves up before reaching the targets.
The four terrorists, who were covering the suicide bombers from rooftop of a nearby building, started firing. An exchange of fire took place, which continued for some time. Four soldiers received minor injurers.
