Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani here on Sunday said that public representatives had to serve the entire population of the constituency after their election. He said spirit of democracy was to bring about a change in the life of the common man through development.
Talking to a delegation of party workers from Sargodha, led by Ejaz Kahlun, he congratulated Ejaz Kahlun on his election as MPA and said now he had an added responsibility to work for the welfare of the people of his areas.
Kahlun assured the Prime Minister of his complete support to PPP and expressed determination to serve people. Governor Punjab Salmaan Taseer, Federal Minister for Food and Agriculture Nazar Muhammad Gondal, Federal Education Minister Sardar Asif Ahmad Ali, Minister for State for Information Syed Sumsam Ali Bokhari and Senior Punjab Minister Raja Riaz Ahmed were also present on the occasion.
