Officers of the National Highway & Motorway Police (NH&MP) N-5 North zone in a bid to mitigate sufferings of floods affectees of Khyber-Pakhtunkhawa not only procured medicine of worth Rs 1 million but also established a flood relief camp at Azakhail. Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Abbass Hussain Malik informed that NH&MP will extend all possible help and support to the flood victims in the hour of trial.
He further informed that in the aftermath of the flood, diseases will break and better health would become an issue that needs immediate attention. The NH&MP set up a medical camp at karma sector to meet the requisite challenges. In this regard, a truck loaded with medicines of worth Rs 1 million under the auspices of SSP NH&MP Dr Inam Waheed was handed over to SSP Muhammad Saeed Khan Wazir Kamra Sector and has also arranged doctors and paramedical staff at the medical camp where they will be available round the clock for the medical treatment of flood affectees.
Moreover, SSP Saeed Wazir has also made arrangements to remove the silt and loam deposited by flood from the GT road. DIG Abbas Hussain Malik also added that Inspector General (IG) NH&MP Dr Waseem Kausar is also very keen to extend all possible help to the flood affectees to enable them to live normal life.-PR
