The Corps Commander Lieutenant General Shahd Iqbal on Saturday visited the flood threatened areas of Hyderabad including Qasimabd, Latifabad, Mullakatiar, Kotri, Tando Muhammad Khan and Thatta and inspected the relief and rescue operations. While addressing the troops, the Corps Commander lauded their vigilance and enthusiasm towards the duty and reiterated that true test of a soldier is in trying times.
"I urge you to put in your best in this testing national cause", he said and added, "You are lucky that you have been called for this operation and I appreciated that you are conducting the task tirelessly". According to ISPR, Karachi Corps had sent more than five hundred metric tons of relief goods to flood affected areas from Karachi. Besides, mobile medical teams comprising of Army doctors and nursing staff of Army Medical Corps are providing medical treatment and medicines in flood hit areas of Sindh.
