947,724 patients treated at Sindh Health Department's camps

Almost 947,724 patients suffering from various diseases have been treated at 527 medical camps set by Sindh Health Department Sindh from July 31. Apart from this, 262,589 persons were provided vaccinations of BCG and Tetanus while 59,329 persons provided with hepatitis vaccination, 328 deliveries conducted and 337 snakebites case were reported. Around 70 deaths were registered in these camps during the period.
Patients of diarrhea, gastro-enteritis, acute respiratory infection, malaria, skin diseases, heat stroke and eye infections were treated at 396 fixed medical camps and 131 mobile medical camps functioning under the supervision of the Sindh health department.
