The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, Owais Ahmed Ghani has assured the family of members of the kidnapped Vice Chancellor of the Islamia College University, Peshawar, Professor Ajmal Khan who was kidnapped from the campus on Tuesday morning that no effort will be spared to ensure his safe recovery at the earliest.
"This is a very unfortunate incident and we have to tackle this challenging situation intelligently and in a controlled manner", he said. The Governor said that the Vice Chancellor of this historical educational institute is a highly regarded person and the kidnapping incident has indeed shocked every one in the province.
