More than 25,000 employees have been paid their salaries in the past couple of days and the remaining 3,900 employees' salaries are also being processed to be paid as soon as these employees resume their duties, says press release. PTCL employees resumed their duties earlier this week ending the countrywide strike, while management has made special arrangements to ensure that all employees who have resumed their duties should get their salaries before Eid holidays.
On Wednesday alone 14,000 faults were rectified and telecommunication services restored, which is much higher than the normal performance average. All out efforts are being made to remove maximum faults at the earliest to facilitate the customers and restore normalcy to PTCL operations. PTCL management trusts said that employees will continue to perform their duties with the same dedication and understanding in the interest of all stake holders including the employees the customers and above all the country.-PR
