A contempt of court petition against former Prosecutor general National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Irfan Qadir has been filed before the Supreme Court. Petitioner Javed Iqbal Jaffrey contended in his petition that the respondent Irfan Qadir committed contempt of court by not obeying order of the apex court about his removal from the office of NAB prosecutor general. He therefore prayed the court to initiate contempt proceedings against him and punish him under the relevant law.
