Donations by German people for the flood victims in Pakistan have gone up to around $209 million, as per the statistics issued by the German Institute on Social Matters, Deutsches Zenhalinstitut Fuer Soziale Fragen, DZI here on Monday. Forty-five German Relief Organisations have the certification of the DZI Institute to collect donations and these have collected Euro 161 million (around $209 million) so far.
The six organisations, which have collected more than Euro 10 million, are Entwicklung Hilft (27.8 million), German Red Cross -DRK (18.9 million) Aktion Deutschland Hilft (16.3 million), Deutsche Welthungerhilfe (15.3 million), Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe (12.2 million) and the Caritas Germany (11 million).-PR
