Shanghai copper fell 0.7 percent on Tuesday as investors wound up positions ahead of a three-day holiday, but London was steadier, supported by strong Chinese imports and expectations of tight supply in the future, Benchmark third-month Shanghai copper fell 420 yuan to 59,830 yuan. Prices earlier touched 60,230 yuan, retreating as investors trimmed length ahead of the three-day Mid Autumn Festival starting Wednesday.
