The Lahore High Court Chief Justice (CJ) here on Friday disposed of a habeas corpus petition of a woman after her counsel told the court that son of the petitioner had been released. Akhter Bano of Harbanspura had filed petition for the recovery of her two sons Ehtisham Akhter and Hashaam-ul-Mulk alleging that personnel of secret agencies abducted them from their house.
Hashaam had already been released by the abductors, while Ehtisham also reached home himself on September 20 last, petitioner counsel told the court on Friday. After this statement, the chief justice disposed of the petition.
