Though two cases of human deaths by dengue have been confirmed in the city this year while many patients are suffering from the dangerous fever, the government is yet to take steps against the fast spreading disease. After the monsoon rains across the country the dengue cases are reportedly spreading, the immediate fumigation was needed to stop the tropical fever.
The fever which is mostly caused by a virus that is transmitted by mosquitoes and marked by high fever, rash, headache, and severe muscle and joint pains, was reported to have infected many people in the city's hospitals.
