Issue of Watan Card: Nadra registers heads of 3000 families

Executive District Officer (EDO) Revenue Hyderabad Syed Barkat Ahmed Rizvi has said heads of 3000 families out of 7000 families of IDPs have been registered by Nadra for issuance of Watan Card at Niaz Stadium Hyderabad during the last five days. Talking to the media he said efforts were being made to complete this task at Hyderabad within next ten days so that IDPs could return to their homes.
The government was doing its best for scientific documentation of these IDPs to maintain transparency in the compensation to these people, he added. He assured that not a single IDP would be ignored for registration. Those IDPs, who have opted for the residences of their relatives, friends or rented houses would also be registered in second phase. The government was sincerely working to provide relief and to rehabilitate all IDPs in a systematic way for which a comprehensive plan was underway.
