President Asif Ali Zardari has strongly condemned the murder of Dr Farooq Khan, the Vice Chancellor Swat Islamic University, who was gunned down in Mardan. While reiterating the government's determination to fight terrorism, the President said his government is committed to eradicate menace of terrorism at all costs.
Those elements who are playing with the lives of innocent people, he added, would not escape the grip of law. The President directed the concerned authorities to investigate into the sad incident. The President expressed his heartfelt condolences with the bereaved family and prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in peace and grant courage to the members of bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
