Rishi Kapoor invites unwanted controversy over Azad Kashmir tweet
It’s now not exactly new for actor Rishi Kapoor to stir up a controversy on Twitter. He often faces criticism over his harsh or sometimes insensitive tweets. This time the 65-year-old actor is again in headlines for commenting on infamous Kashmir issue.
The veteran Bollywood actor agreed with former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah, who claimed that Azad Kashmir belongs to Pakistan and ‘this won't change’ no matter how many wars India and Pakistan fight against each other. He said Jammu and Kashmir needed more autonomy and chided those seeking ‘azadi’.
Reacting to the same, Rishi wrote on Twitter,
Farooq Abdhulla ji, Salaam! Totally agree with you, sir. J&K is ours, and PoK is theirs. This is the only way we can solve our problem. Accept it, I am 65 years old and I want to see Pakistan before I die. I want my children to see their roots. Bas karva Dijiye. Jai Mata Di !

His words did not go down too well with social media users. Soon, he started receiving extreme hatred from his Indian fans who called him ‘drunk’ and much more.
Earlier, Kapoor made headlines when he commented on Pakistan during ICC Champions Trophy final.
