Afridi's term as KSE managing director expires on October 31

The three-year term of Karachi Stock Exchange Manager Director Adnan Afridi is coming to an end on October 31, 2010. Sources said Afridi has already informed the KSE Board of Directors that he will not be available for second contract for the same post.
Afridi had informed the board that he has other professional commitments and he will be joining his new assignment early next year. It is expected that the KSE Board will discuss the appointment of a new managing director in its next meeting. The vacant post would be advertised and applications would be invited from the interested candidates soon, sources said.
