CPLC Chief Ahmed Chinoy has showed his deep concern over the recent ray of target-killings in the city which claimed precious lives of innocent citizens. He has informed that he had meetings with the Governor Sindh and Home Minister Sindh on this issue. Governor Sindh and Home Minister, Sindh have shown their concern and seriousness on the issue.
"Home Minister Sindh has assured the citizens that soon normalcy would return and the city once again become a paradise for the investment and living," he said. Ahmed Chinoy has also stressed to the citizens to have confidence on the institutions and assured them that the Governor Sindh and Home Minister Sindh are doing their best not only to control the situation but to normalise it.
He emphasised that since last few days some news has attributed with the CPLC in which it has been stated that CPLC have pointed out some notorious gangs in the city involved in the recent wave of target killing. Chief CPLC, stressed that CPLC is a non-political organisation, assisting victims of crime irrespective of their caste, creed, wealth and status since the last two decades.
CPLC develops an extensive data base in which information of all FIRs against habitual criminals registered during the last 20 years at Karachi Police Stations is available," he said and added that CPLC shares this information with LEAs as and when required. He also highlighted some case through which some gangs involved in heinous cases were arrested in co-ordination with CPLC. He has exclusively referred to two cases in which Criminals called some businessmen/Industrialists of Karachi, for donation for the flood victims.-PR
