Prime Minister, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani should ask the concerned ministries to set up a 'cottage village' in Multan as early as possible to facilitate the handloom, knitted garments, embroidery industry encourage male and female craftsmen, said Shahid Naseem Khokhar, President of Multan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) on Friday.
He announced to organise a big "Mela" of artisan, craftsmen next month to introduce their skills at the international level. Movies and other coverage of this mela would be sent abroad, he added.
